Wiggins Tug & Barge has been serving the marine communities of Newport and Toledo, Oregon with professional, licensed, bonded and insured harbor towage since 2002. We serve the Ports of Toledo and Newport with two, 500hp, steerable nozzle harbor tugs to 45', 14,500lbs. of Bollard Pull. The tugs "Peggy" and "Thea K" are equipped with deck make-up winches, three station controls and have the horsepower, pull and manuverability to make sure the job is done safely and efficiently. Because of their agility, we are capable of providing assist and towing services to large commercial dredging and marine construction projects. This goes for barge assist and research vessel assist services too.
Complimenting the tugs "Peggy" and "Thea K", are three steel material work barges to 18' x 46', 66 short tons. These barges are perfect for marine construction projects, pier-side repair services and vessel maintenance painting and lightering of gear and supplies.
Wiggins Tug & Barge supports our local and distant-water commercial fishing fleet by providing general harbor and river towage and escort service around the Ports of Newport and Toledo with service to ALL shipyard and repair facilities along the Yaquina River System.
