The local and distant-water commercial fishing fleet is very important to the Central Oregon Coast. In support thereof, Wiggins Tug & Barge caters to the fleet by providing inner-harbor and cannery vessel shifts, hoist dock shifts for gear loading or off-loading and general vessel towing to any of our local shipyards or repair facilities. We offer work barge rental and lightering services as well. Service is usually available the same day or on the next tide.
Barge & Research Vessel Assist
With the capabilities of the tugs "Peggy" and "Thea K", Wiggins Tug is able to provide high thrust and pull with great manuverability in a small package. This makes assist services possible in tight areas, where draft and length becomes an issue. We offer assist services at the Port of Newport's International Terminal, the OSU Dock, the NOAA Dock and the Port of Toledo's Barge Dock.

Material & Work Barge Rental & Service
Wiggins Tug & Barge offers fishing gear lightering service with our 18' x 46', 66 short ton steel material barge. We are able to pull up alongside your vessel, offload or deliver your gear and take it to your desired location for storage or re-location. This includes crab pots, drag gear and doors, shrimp nets and sorting tables.

Wiggins also offers steel work barge(s) for rent. These are perfect for your painting projects, small welding and refit operations and gear rigging. Service is usually available the same day or on the next tide.
Mobile Tug & Barge Service
Wiggins Tug & Barge provides mobile tug and barge service to the marine construction sector. By using a wet trailer, our mobile tug and barge are both loaded and unloaded without the need of a large crawler crane. These projects include bridge re-construction projects, pier and dock replacement jobs to pile-driving activities, dock placements and marina construction and de-construction projects.
